PREPARING FOR WORSHIP
September 13th
We get the privilege of gathering as God’s people every Sunday morning. We want to help you prepare for our gatherings, growing in expectation of what the Lord might do through the Spirit, the Word, and our community.
Below, you’ll find the passage for this week, a simple prayer, and the songs we are singing. We hope these help you prepare for Sunday!

Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet and listened to his teaching. But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.” But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.”
Luke 10:38-42

Lord, you are my light and my salvation. I have nothing to fear in you. This week, remind me that I dwell in your care. Show me your beauty in your word as you teach me your ways.
Let me taste and see your goodness and care this weekend as I worship with your people.
In Jesus’s name, Amen
(Psalm 27)
