March 15, 2020 – Sunday Online Gathering

WELCOME

To all who are weary and need rest,

To all who mourn and long for comfort,

To all who feel worthless and wonder if God cares,

To all who fail and desire strength,

To all who sin and need a Savior,

This church opens wide her doors with a welcome from Jesus Christ,

the Ally of His enemies,

the Defender of the guilty,

the Justifier of the inexcusable,

the Friend of sinners.

Welcome!

CALL TO WORSHIP

Psalm 145:1-7
Leader:
I will extol you, my God and King,
and bless your name forever and ever.
Every day I will bless you
and praise your name forever and ever.
Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised,
and his greatness is unsearchable.
One generation shall commend your works to another and shall declare your mighty acts.
All:
On the glorious splendor of your majesty,
and on your wondrous works, I will meditate.
They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds, and I will declare your greatness.
They shall pour forth the fame of your abundant goodness and shall sing aloud of your righteousness.

Oh! Great Is Our God!

PRAYER OF CONFESSION

Gracious God,
We thankfully remember the life, death, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Yet we also confess our failure to worship him fully.
We have not rightly honored Jesus as the ruler of all creation. We have not rightly treasured the depth of his sacrifice on the cross. We have failed to proclaim him as the only way of salvation.
Forgive us, we pray, and help us to delight in Jesus and to worship him alone.
Amen.

ASSURANCE OF PARDON

Colossians 1:21-22
And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him

BY HIS GRACE

ADORATION

10,000 REASONS

PROCLAMATION – JOHN 4:1-42

RESPONSE

CHRIST, OR ELSE I DIE

MY HOPE IS BUILT

BENEDICTION

Ephesians 3:20–21

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

That was just wonderful Vince, Robbie and many others who put this together for our very first worship service online. Many many thanks! I really appreciate keeping the same liturgy. Gives a sense of normalcy. God bless you all.
    Love and hugs,
