I grew up in Michigan and, if you want specifics, I'd be happy to point on my hand to the exact location. God saved me at a young age while attending Spring Hill Camps, where I later served on staff. I attended college at Western Michigan University where I studied Spanish and Communications, through this and involvement with a campus ministry God developed a passion in me for cross cultural missions. This led to five years of service on staff at Wycliffe Bible Translators. While serving there I met Rachel, who after some persuading agreed to go on a date with me. We were married in 2011 and promptly moved to Fort Collins. I recently began working as a financial planner, which I believe will provide the opportunity to encourage biblical stewardship and generosity.

Rachel and I have two sons, Everett and Levi. We enjoy cooking, hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, and DIY-ing together.
